<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>CAFOD Lent Fast Day – Friday 26<sup>th</sup> February </strong>is the 50<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the first ‘Family Fast Day’ and we thank you for all your generous and faithful support over the years.   Most of us usually give up something for Lent like biscuits, wine or a big dinner on a Friday.   This year we are asking you to consider linking your life to the life of someone living in poverty in the developing world, by giving the money you save to CAFOD.   We will transform whatever you give up (like wine) into something desperately needed by someone else (like water).   Thank you for the incredible response to the Haiti emergency appeal and for your support of CAFOD’s long-term development work through Fast Days.</p>
